Envoy Offers New Hire Pilots $15,000 Signing Bonus
June 13 2016 - 12:00PM
Envoy Air Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines
Group (Nasdaq:AAL), now offers new hire pilots a $15,000 bonus when
they join the company.
“I’m pleased to announce that today Envoy increased our signing
bonus to $15,000,” said Captain Ric Wilson, Vice President Flight
Operations. “Combined with our outstanding benefits, privileges and
career opportunities, there is no better place to start than Envoy
if you’re looking for a life-long career as a commercial airline
pilot.”
Through its industry-leading flow-through agreement with
American Airlines, Envoy offers pilots a guaranteed path to
American Airlines without having to interview again – or compete
with the thousands of pilots who apply to American every year.
Envoy pilots currently make up half of every American Airlines new
hire class – in fact, nearly two thirds of American new hires since
2010 started their career at Envoy.
“We project that a pilot hired at Envoy today will upgrade to
Envoy Captain in two and a half years,” added Wilson. “And with our
flow-through program to the mainline, he or she can enter training
at American Airlines in less than six years from hire.
“This substantial signing bonus, coupled with a growing fleet of
76-seat Embraer 175 aircraft, shared bases with American in
Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago and a generous commuting policy,
provides our pilots with an outstanding quality of life and solid
career progression.”
