CARMEL, Ind., June 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The majority of the nation's graduates with associate degrees in Information Technology-Computer Network Systems (IT-CNS) and Network Systems Administration (NSA) were awarded their degrees from ITT Technical Institute.

According to federal data provided for the 2013-2014 academic year, 45.2 percent of graduates with IT-CNS or NSA associate degrees earned their degrees at ITT Tech. The next postsecondary institution with similar degree programs graduated just over 5 percent of students, according to the most current data from the National Center for Education Statistics' Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System known as IPEDS.

"ITT Tech is proud to produce graduates for some of the most in-demand careers," said Kevin M. Modany, CEO of ITT Educational Services, Inc. "Each year, we work with approximately 3,400 employers to stay current with workforce trends and update our curriculum to meet the needs of employers. As a result, we're producing much needed IT graduates for many of the nation's employers."

Kaspersky Lab is just one of the approximately 12,000 employers who have hired ITT Tech graduates in the last two years.

"The graduates we've hired bring deep knowledge on IT technologies, especially in information security, as well as soft skills which help us support customers worldwide," said Yasser Fuentes, head of Kaspersky Lab's technical support for Latin America. Kaspersky Lab assists over 270,000 corporate clients worldwide.

Kaspersky Lab is a global cybersecurity company founded in 1997. The company's deep threat intelligence and security expertise is constantly transforming into security solutions and services to protect businesses, critical infrastructure, governments and consumers around the globe.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states that STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) jobs are predicted to grow to more than 9 million between 2012 and 2022. Approximately 88 percent of all ITT Tech students currently enrolled are seeking a STEM-related degree.
