NEW DELHI--Raytheon Co. (RTN) said Wednesday that it has signed a pact with India's defense ministry to supply 245 Stinger air-to-air missiles.

The U.S. defense contractor didn't disclose the value of the deal, which includes supplying missile launchers and providing engineering support. A defense ministry spokesman couldn't be reached immediately for comment.

Raytheon said India's order is part of a $3.1 billion deal with the U.S. to supply combat helicopters, radars and electronic warfare systems. As part of the deal, India last year approved plans to buy 22 Apache attack helicopters from Boeing Co.
