Wabash National Corporation (NYSE:WNC) recognized top suppliers today during its annual supplier conference. Twenty-eight suppliers received awards for exceptional performance to help the organization meet customer needs.

“We value the relationships with our suppliers and the support they provide to help Wabash National deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for our customers,” said Dick Giromini, Wabash National Corporation president and chief executive officer. “This select group of suppliers has demonstrated the kind of commitment to excellence that allows Wabash National to enhance customer satisfaction with evolving product and technology innovations.”

More than 350 attendees representing 200 supplier organizations were present for the conference, held at the company’s Ehrlich Innovation Center. Keynote speakers included Bob Costello, senior vice president and chief economist at American Trucking Associations (ATA) and John Mothersole, director of research, Pricing and Purchasing Service at IHS. They both shared insights on specific trends affecting the industry and the economy.

“Partnerships are critical to our success as a diversified industrial manufacturer,” said Wabash National Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing Steve Miller. “These select suppliers bring unique ideas and a sense of urgency that continues to raise the bar and redefine the reciprocal value of partnership.”

Wabash National presented its most esteemed award, the 2015 Pinnacle Award, to Steel Technologies, LLC of Louisville, Kentucky, one of the leading steel processors in North America. Steel Technologies was selected for its excellent service and performance in reducing costs and providing proactive solutions for Wabash National customers.

Wabash National also gave 25 Platinum Awards for excellence in supply chain performance delivery, quality, cost and innovation. Recipients of these awards were:
