Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE) is interested in buying Magnum Hunter Resources Corp.'s (MHR) stake in the Eureka Hunter Pipeline, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The stake may be worth up to $600 million, according to the report.

Morgan Stanley's (MS) infrastructure arm announced in September that it would acquire "co-control ownership" of the pipeline, with Morgan Stanley and Magnum Hunter expected to own a combined stake of about 98%.
