HONG KONG--Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Peter
Guenthardt as sole head of Asia Pacific global capital markets,
after Jason Cox resigned after more than a decade there, according
to an internal memo sent to bank employees Thursday and seen by The
Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Guenthardt was co-head of Asia Pacific global capital
markets with Mr. Cox since joining the bank in 2014. He will
continue to drive growth and overall strategy of the company's
capital markets business and provide the full range of financing
solutions to clients, the memo said.
Mr. Cox, who is co-head of Asia Pacific global capital markets,
will leave to pursue outside opportunities, the memo said, without
giving further details.
