Judge Orders Chesapeake to Pay $379.7 Million in Bond-Redemption Dispute With BNY Mellon -Reuters

A federal judge in Manhattan ordered Chesapeake Energy Corp.
(CHK) to pay $379.7 million to bond investors in connection with a
dispute over a March 2013 redemption notice, Reuters reported
Friday.
The judge agreed with trustee Bank of New York Mellon Corp.
(BNY) over whether bondholders were entitled to a "make-whole"
price because of an early redemption, the report said.
A Chesapeake spokesman declined to comment, Reuters
reported.
