Quiksilver and certain of its executives are charged with failing to disclose certain material information during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws.

On March 26, 2015, the Company announced that its Chief Executive Officer Andy Mooney and its Chief Financial Officer Richard Shields had left the Company. The Company also restated its selected quarterly fiscal year 2014 balance sheet data and income statement data. The Company said it made errors when recording a writedown of the sale of its stake in Surfdome Shop Ltd.

Following this news, Quiksilver's shares fell $.35 per share, more than 15%, to close at $1.90 per share on March 4, 2015.
