used by IBM at their recent international conference. Billed as
"The Premier Cloud and Mobile Conference" in the world, over 20,000
people attended over 2,000 technical sessions, 42 tracks, 8
streams, and 3 general sessions.
The conference was so large that it took up residence in two
major hotels, the MGM and the Mandalay Bay.
AVT specially designed systems for IBM to reward participants
for completing social cause projects. Conference attendees were
encouraged to fill bags with food for the hungry. After completing
the service, the attendees were given a card with a UPC code
that could be scanned by special readers built into the AVT
machines. The machine recognized the code and dispensed a "Thank
you for your service" gift to the conference participant.
