Association Greater Indiana Chapter to plant seeds of hope and
raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease.
Bankers Life's annual Forget Me Not
Days event, "Alzheimer's Awareness Night," will
tip off on Sunday, April 12, at
Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The first 5,000 fans arriving at the Indiana Pacers vs.
Oklahoma City Thunder game will receive a packet of Forget-Me-Not
flower seeds to plant at home in honor of Indiana's Alzheimer's patients and their
families.
An estimated 5.3 million Americans – including 110,000
Hoosiers – live with Alzheimer's disease, and those numbers are
projected to increase exponentially, according to the Alzheimer's
Association.
