Abengoa and the Honors College at the University of Houston to Develop a Strategic Relationship

- A roundtable was held on Tuesday and it allowed the discussion
of Abengoa's technological advancements, including Waste to
Biofuels Technology.
Abengoa (MCE: ABG.B/P SM) (Nasdaq:ABGB), the international company
that applies innovative technology solutions for sustainability in
the energy and environment sectors, is developing a strategic
relationship with the Honors College at the University of
Houston.
For many years, Abengoa has placed importance on building
partnerships with universities and higher education institutes that
complement the internal research and development that the company
diligently pursues. Collaboration with the University of Houston
evolved from their significant focus on programs involving
renewable energies, technological advances, and specifically, the
Energy and Sustainability program housed in the Honors College.
On Tuesday, Abengoa and University of Houston held a roundtable
that included Abengoa representatives and Honors College faculty,
staff and students. It allowed for discussion of Abengoa's
technological advancements, including Abengoa's most recent
disruptive technology for municipal solid waste (Waste to Biofuels)
and future careers in the industry of bioenergy and biotechnology.
The day concluded with a tour of the University's campus.
