Dave Dunning to Retire from Fluor

Jose Bustamante Named Executive Vice President
of Business Development & Strategy
David (Dave) R. Dunning, 62, Fluor’s executive vice president of
Business Development & Strategy, has elected to retire from
Fluor Corporation effective June 1, 2015.
Dunning will begin a transition of his responsibilities
immediately to Jose L. Martin de Bustamante, 51, currently serving
as senior vice president, Business Development, Marketing &
Strategic Planning for Energy & Chemicals. Bustamante will
officially begin his new role on June 1 as Fluor’s new executive
vice president of Business Development & Strategy reporting to
David T. Seaton, chairman and chief executive officer.
Dunning served in a variety of positions during his 37 years,
each with increasing complexity, accountability and strategic
importance. For the past two years, he was responsible for the
realignment and consolidation of Fluor’s business development and
sales organizations to solidify and focus strategic planning,
sales, communications and advocacy for the company.

company with a substantially improved and valuable team that is
determined and focused on achieving our strategic objectives,” said
Seaton. “Dave will continue to help our company in a consulting
capacity as a member of NuScale Power’s board of directors as well
as advising on activities related to Fluor’s recent memorandum of
understanding with China National Nuclear Corporation.”
