Item 8.01. OTHER EVENTS

Virtual Piggy, Inc. (the “Company”) today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the evaluation of strategic alternatives to enhance shareholder value. The Company has engaged the investment banking firm Financial Technology Partners LP and FTP Securities LLC (together, “FT Partners”) in connection with its efforts. FT Partners is based in San Francisco and focuses exclusively on the financial technology sector of the market.
