StreamTrack’s RadioLoyalty Releases Updated Web UniversalPlayer; Reports Positive Preliminary Results
December 04 2014 - 4:16PM
Business Wire
StreamTrack, Inc. (STTK) ("StreamTrack" or the "Company"), the
first company to replace audio advertisements with video
advertisements in a live broadcast radio environment, today
announced that RadioLoyaltyTM has released a significant technology
enhancement to its UniversalPlayerTM. The release was implemented
platform wide on December 3, 2014.
The release features several key improvements including the
video display size inside of the player increasing from 425x250 to
468x442 and the 728x90 display unit display being raised to the top
of the page. While data so far is limited, significant improvement
has been seen comparing the same hours the previous day in the
following:
- A video revenue increase of 35%.
- Video revenue per listener hour jumping
by 29%.
- Video impressions increasing by
29%.
- Video CPM increasing by 9%.
Michael Hill, CEO of StreamTrack, stated: “This is another step
forward in greater monetization of the content distributed through
our platform. This release came in response to feedback from
advertisers wanting to buy larger sized video inventory and display
ads as close to the top of the page as possible. We listened to our
advertisers and anticipate increased advertising buys and higher
advertising rates on RadioLoyalty as a result. While results so far
are extremely limited, we have surpassed our expectations for
performance following the release.
Additionally, the listener experience has been improved by
displaying larger sized video ads in our pre-roll and
patent-pending in-stream video ad insertion technology. This
successful technology release further showcases our competitive,
patent-pending technology advantages over other broadcasting
platforms.”
