MEDIA ALERT: NRG Energy Hosts Groundbreaking for “Ultra-Green” New Princeton Headquarters

NRG Energy Inc. will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the
company’s new sustainable headquarters, which will feature
established and cutting-edge green technologies, including an
on-site solar field, water recycling systems and NJ’s first
electric-vehicle-to-grid (eV2g) charging station. The new building
will demonstrate the ability of businesses to pursue sustainable
practices and reduce overall dependence on what NRG CEO David Crane
calls the “rickety old” grid system. Mr. Crane will also make a
major announcement about the company’s new commitment to action on
climate change and strategies for lower-carbon, renewable energy
development.
