Lee Enterprises, Incorporated (NYSE: LEE) announced today the selection of four Enterprise of the Year Finalists for 2014, honoring superior performance in key business and customer measures.

Mary Junck, chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Kevin Mowbray, vice president and chief operating officer, said the four finalists for the company's highest honor were selected from among more than 50 divisions in 22 states, representing print and digital daily newspaper operations, regional agricultural publications and nationwide digital services.

“Even among many others that came close,” they said, “these four enterprises stood out for delivering the most impressive results in audience, revenue and overall growth, as well as for providing exceptional service to subscribers, advertisers and other customers.”

The 2014 Enterprise of the Year Finalists are:

  • Times Media Company of Northwest Indiana, based in Munster, Enterprise of the Year in 2010 and also a finalist in 2012 and 2013. The Times and NWI.com are Northwest Indiana’s media leaders in local news, information, advertiser services and community partnerships, and NWI.com has the second largest audience of any website in the state.
