FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines will offer more domestic service from Miami International Airport (MIA) next spring, further strengthening one of American's key hubs and providing more access for customers across the airline's growing global network.

New service between Miami and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), Kansas City International Airport (MCI), Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and San Antonio International Airport (SAT) will launch on March 5, 2015. Customers may begin booking travel on these flights on Sunday, Oct. 5.

With these new routes, American will serve more than 130 domestic and international destinations from its Miami hub, providing customers ideal connections to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

These new routes will be served with Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will operate on the following daily schedule (all times local):

American begins new daily service today between Miami and Cap-Haitien, Haiti (CAP), adding a new international destination to the airline's network. The new route supplements American's longstanding service to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
