they are starting production of the new Opticwash Pro Unit. This
new, smaller sized unit is designed for placement inside optical
shops and Eye Care Professional (ECP) practices. According to
industry statistics, there are over 20,000 optical stores in
America.
Opticwash is the world's first automated kiosk dedicated to
cleaning and sanitizing eyeglasses and jewelry. The company
recently developed the smaller footprint "Pro" system, which will
be built by AVT and leased to doctors nationwide.
The system provides comprehensive reports to the
doctor/retailer, including sales figures, and information about who
has used the system. The equipment is highly effective in bringing
new customers and patients into practices. Gift cards for free
cleanings can also be issued to further stimulate customer interest
and foot-traffic.
The Opticwash system began development in 2009 and has had great
success in all of the initial placements. A unit was recently
deployed in the Venetian Resort in Las
Vegas, Nevada.
