Euro Rises Vs Most Majors After CPI, Unemployment Data

Eurostat released its flash harmonized index of consumer prices,
or HICP, figures for August and the July unemployment report for
the Eurozone.
After these reports, the Euro showed mixed trading against its
major rivals. While the euro rose further against the pound, the
greenback and the yen, it changed little against the franc.
As of 5:02 am ET, the Euro was trading at 0.7943 against the
Pound, 1.2061 against the Swiss franc, 137.02 against the Yen and
1.3189 against the U.S. dollar.
