STOCKHOLM--Swedish construction company Skanska AB (SKA-B.SK) said Monday it has been named general contractor for Facebook's data center project in Lulea, Sweden.

The project is estimated to be worth about SEK530 million.

Skanska said it is responsible for all infrastructure on the project, such as utilities and roads, and will also construct all sub-structure, concrete works and office and facilities buildings.

Construction started in March 2014 and will be completed in the first half of 2015.

The project will be included in third quarter order bookings.
