Yves Maître of Orange Elected to Sequans’ Board of Directors

Sequans Communications S.A. (NYSE:SQNS) announced today that Yves Maître, executive vice president of connected objects and partnerships at Orange Group, has been elected to its board of directors. Maître is responsible for Orange’s entire connected object portfolio, including the marketing of devices across all Orange markets.

In his role at Orange, in addition to managing the connected object portfolio, Maître is responsible for managing the relationships between Orange and all global manufacturers and Internet players. He is also responsible for embedded software and the testing and marketing of all devices across all Orange markets. He also leads Orange Mobile Multimedia P&L. Before his tenure at Orange, Maître spent six years at consumer electronics company, Thomson, where he was president of Key MRO America, a Thomson subsidiary. Before Thomson, Maître was COO of Quante-Pouyet, a subsidiary of 3M.
