Health Net Federal Services Earns Center of Excellence Certification from BenchmarkPortal

Health Net Federal Services, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Health Net, Inc., today announced its call center operations were certified as a Center of Excellence by BenchmarkPortal.

“BenchmarkPortal’s certification recognizes our business practices for operational excellence in efficiency and effectiveness,” said Thomas Carrato, president of Health Net Federal Services. “We are proud to earn this recognition, which is awarded to the top 10 percent of call centers evaluated by BenchmarkPortal, and to demonstrate our commitment to serve our beneficiaries, health care providers and customers through rigorous industry standards of care.”

Call centers achieve the Center of Excellence distinction based on best-practice metrics drawn from BenchmarkPortal’s database of objective and quantitative data that is audited and validated by its researchers.

The certification process involved audits of call center operations jointly operated by Health Net Federal Services and PGBA, which serve TRICARE beneficiaries in the North Region. TRICARE is the uniformed services health care program for active duty, retired, Guard and Reserve, and their families provided through the U.S. Department of Defense.
