this highest employee achievement.
Con-way's 2014 CEO Constellation Award recipients are:
Joe Albelo, Director of Sales,
Con-way Freight, Sacramento,
Calif.: Joe's everyday approach to his responsibilities
at work is refreshingly positive. His attitude and commitment to
Con-way's core values is inspirational and his personal dedication
to excellence has inspired others on the sales team to exceed their
goals. He works diligently to teach skills that are essential to
the team's success and improve overall sales performance. Joe is a
compassionate and caring person who volunteers at Good Cause Inc.,
a homeless shelter that helps provide counseling and skills to less
fortunate people trying to get their lives back on track.
Ina Daly, Driver Sales
Representative, Con-way Freight, Phoenix,
Ariz.: Ina's attention to detail and commitment to
safety have taken her to heights seldom achieved in the trucking
industry. She has achieved her 1 million and 2 million mile safe
driving status, has scored perfectly on several State Truck Driving
Championship written exams and twice scored 100 percent on the
National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC) written exam — an
achievement no other participant has ever accomplished. In 2001 she
was named a Captain of the America's Road Team and in 2003 the
Arizona Driver of the Year by the Arizona Trucking Association. She
is the only woman in history to win a competition class at the
NTDC. Ina speaks openly about the importance of safety in one's
daily routine, the value of acting in a professional manner and her
dedication to the principle of integrity as a Con-way employee.
Ken Washington, Driver Sales
Representative, Con-way Freight, Dallas,
Texas: As a Driver Trainer, Ken is a leader in his
field. His dedication to his responsibilities is inspiring. He's
the first person at work in the morning and the last to leave. He
selflessly sacrifices many weekends and evenings to ensure that
each of his students get the attention and training they need to
succeed as a Con-way Freight professional driver sales
representative. Ken demonstrates a remarkable balance of leadership
and approachability, evidenced by the numerous times graduates from
the school seek him out for advice and guidance. Ken personifies
Con-way's core values, leading by example to make the roads safer
for all motorists.
Dave Spaulding, Service Center
Manager, Con-way Freight, Nashville,
Tenn.: Dave is a natural born leader and highly regarded
among his peers for his dedication to employees, customers and
Con-way. He is an active, involved advocate for team members,
encouraging them to use their creativity and talents to improve the
quality of their work environment. Dave's servant leadership style
is both proactive and delegatory, making him a remarkably effective
coach and trainer with a focus on helping his team members reach
their fullest potential.

Transportation, Menlo Logistics, Auburn
Hills, Mich.: James is an energetic, supportive leader
who encourages his employees to think outside the box. He has
created various metrics for customer savings initiatives, involving
team members actively in the process. He consistently leads the way
in supporting his customers, and is regularly acknowledged by them
for the services his team provides. He works hard at keeping the
team focused by creating a strong culture of teamwork and
