International Star Provides Van Deemen Update

WILTON, CT--(Marketwired - May 7, 2014) - International Star, Inc. (OTC Pink: ILST) (PINKSHEETS: ILST) provides project update.

Last week, the Company instructed McClelland Labs to cease the leaching process of the Van Deemen samples. Despite the fact that gold was still being realized, the curve was only increasing incrementally. While it is customary to leach until the curve flattens, the final results/report from McClelland is required to complete the Company's preliminary plan of operation.

The preliminary plan of operation should be completed within the next two weeks. In hopes of expediting the review, the Company's plan of operation will only focus on the near surface areas, limiting the initial area of ground disturbance.

Once the preliminary plan of operation is reviewed by the Bureau of Land Management, the Company should be able to give some level of guidance as to future time lines and requirements. ABOUT INTERNATIONAL STAR
