Huron Consulting Group Expands Huron Healthcare with Managing Director

O’Connell has joined its Huron Healthcare practice as a managing director focused on strategic and cost repositioning planning at academic medical centers and large integrated delivery networks.

O’Connell has more than 25 years of experience helping hospitals and health systems with mergers and acquisitions, planning, supply chain management and operational improvement. Most recently she founded KTO Healthcare Consulting LLC, providing professional services to a large Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). Prior to that, she served as group vice president at Premier Healthcare Alliance leading clients through the transformation to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare. At Huron Healthcare, O’Connell will help providers manage through the multitude of changes that the shift in payments models has caused. She is a registered nurse.
