Silicon Motion Announces Preliminary First Quarter 2014 Revenue and Earnings Conference Call Details

Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (Nasdaq:SIMO) ("Silicon
Motion" or the "Company"), a global leader in designing and
marketing NAND flash controllers for solid state storage devices
and specialty RF IC solutions for mobile devices, announces that
based upon its preliminary financial results, sequential revenue
growth for the first quarter is expected to be near the high-end of
the original guidance range that the company issued on January 28,
2014, of flat to down 10% sequentially. Gross margin (non-GAAP) is
expected to be within the lower half of the company's guidance
range of 48 to 50%.
The Company will release its full first quarter 2014 results
after the market closes on April 28, 2014. The Company will host a
conference call on April 29, at 8 am Eastern Time, to discuss its
results.
