Medient Announces Production Number 15: "The Damned"
Possession Horror Movie Will Be Filmed in Savannah
EFFINGHAM COUNTY, GA--(Marketwired - Mar 25, 2014) - Medient
Studios (OTCQB: MDNT) announced today that the first movie in the
2014 slate will be "The Damned." This will be Medients's fifteenth
feature production and follows the successful production and
release of the British horror film "Storage 24."
Written by Georgia based writer Chad Darnell, "The
Damned" is a possession horror genre film set in Savannah,
Georgia. It is anticipated that principal photography will begin in
third quarter of this year.
Savannah has been home to many films including "Midnight in
the Garden of Evil," "The General's
Daughter" and "Forrest Gump." "The Damned"
is an exciting horror story that showcases Savannah, purported to
be the most haunted city in America. The company expects to hire
much of the production crew from the local area.
