Through the MabweMessage Newsletter, shareholders will be kept abreast of the ongoing developments at Dodge Mine as WGB Kinsey & Company continues to build long-term infrastructure and continues barite production. With assistance from strategic partners, Mabwe-Z has now established different grades of barite types to address the multiple market applications for barite ranging from API-grade barite to support the oil & gas drilling sector to bright white barite supporting the paint industry.

As part of the lot qualification process, Mabwe-Z will be sending bi-weekly lots of barite, sorted by grade type, to multiple test labs under the supervision of Steinbock Minerals, whose barite customer base has historically approved as third party, independent barite test facilities. The accumulation of multiple lots of test data will be used to set specification sheets for the different grades of barite. Once the specification sheets are completed during the 4th Qtr. 2013, lot qualification should commence shortly thereafter, as our strategic partners network with their barite customer base to set up initial shipments for final customer approval.

Tapiwa Gurupira, Director of Mabwe Minerals Zimbabwe (Private) Limited, commented, "We are so pleased to witness the superior work being performed by WGB Kinsey & Company, as they continue to expand employee housing, management offices, roadways and all related tasks associated with building long-term infrastructure at Dodge Mine. The company is even more excited to see WGB Kinsey & Company actively mining barite. Mabwe-Z looks forward to their first shipment, as it continues developing the barite specification sheets in order to commence barite lot qualification during the fourth quarter 2013."
