SHENZHEN, China, Aug. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ANV Security Group (OTCBB: ANVS) announces today that it has successfully completed the installation of its Global Intelligent Eye (GIE) hardware and cloud-based management platform in 141 public preschools and kindergartens in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, Guangdong Province, China.

The previously unannounced contract with Shenzhen's Department of Education took considerable time to implement. Public outcry due to past incidents of child mistreatment was seen as the key driver for the Department of Education to search for a flexible and affordable technology solution to monitor educators within their district's preschool and kindergarten school systems.

"The completion of the preschool and kindergarten project in Shenzhen represents a big step for our company into the public sector", said ANV Chairman, Wilson Wang. He finished by saying, "We have more projects like this on the horizon and other exciting announcements coming."

The Company's Global Intelligent Eye (GIE) service allows subscribers, both large and small, to easily monitor their home, office, or facilities from remote locations on any device that is connected to the internet. GIE uses internet protocol and proprietary, true plug-and-play, hardware technology to provide real-time live video and sound feeds to subscriber's internet enabled devices-handhelds, laptops, smartphones and computers.

GIE was officially launched in China one year ago and remains the first consumer-focused video monitoring technology to be widely available across the country.

Security for real assets is just part of the story for being a GIE subscriber in China. With two parents increasingly working outside the home, parents can now log into their GIE account and check in on their child being taken care of by the nanny or grandparents. With ANV's proprietary hardware, two-way communication is a possibility via the wi-fi enabled IP cameras that possess both a speaker and microphone. Standard infrared capabilities allow for nighttime monitoring.

For just pennies a day per installed unit, ANV's GIE platform is accessible to all internet users in China. Subscribers that sign long-term contracts receive their hardware units for free. With added hardware, GIE is also able to monitor smoke, fire, carbon monoxide, doors and windows, and more. The Company's patented alerting technology can send notifications and alerts using email, text message, or even a phone call.

The Company says that GIE will soon become available in select emerging markets and North America and welcomes inquiries.

About ANV Group

ANV Security Group, Inc. (ANVS) was formally established in 2006 and became a public company in 2009 through a reverse merger transaction.  Registered as a Nevada corporation, the Company currently trades on the OTCBB exchange under the stock symbol "ANVS". In 2010, the Company moved its headquarters from Vancouver, Canada to Shenzhen, a Special Economic Zone, in Southern China, where it continues to focus on research and development of its technology platforms and service solutions.

As a research and development company, ANVS developed and patented the world's first large-scale cloud-based intelligent video and security alarm technology, having been issued its patent in October 2009 (US2009/0265747A1). Customers are able to use a desktop computer, laptop, smart phone, or any other internet enabled device to visually monitor their locations where ANV devices have been installed.
