Funds managed by EQT Partners AB and Macquarie Group (MQBKY) are among parties interested in bidding for Royal KPN NV's (KKPNY) German mobile-phone towers, Bloomberg News reported Monday citing four people familiar with the matter.
The towers, run by German telecommunications operator E-Plus, could be sold for about 300 million euros ($364 million), the people told Bloomberg.
KPN has hired UBS AG (UBS) to prepare documents for the sale and a deal might be wrapped up in the third quarter, according to the people.
A KPN spokesman and a Macquarie spokeswoman declined to comment, while an EQT official couldn't immediately be reached for comment, Bloomberg reported.
