KUALA LUMPUR--Qatar's RasGas will produce 37 million metric tons of LNG in 2012, matching its total capacity, with no more maintenance shutdowns planned for this year, Managing Director Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi said Wednesday.
Separately, Mohannadi he said he doesn't expect future LNG exports from North America to change the oil-based pricing mechanism in Asia.
He also said the moratorium on further development of the giant North Field is unlikely to be lifted anytime soon.
