Some suspicious envelopes were received Monday at two Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) branches in New York, CNBC reported, citing the the city's police department and reporting from affiliate WNBC-TV in New York.
Police don't believe there is anything hazardous about the envelopes at this point, CNBC reported. One envelope included a note that said, "Welcome to May 1," and some envelopes are said to have powder in them, according to the report.
Investigators are said to be looking into whether the envelopes are linked to the Occupy Wall Street movement, CNBC reported.
