Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL), which is looking to reduce its jet fuel costs, has serious interest in buying the ConocoPhillips (COP) Trainer refinery near Philadelphia, CNBC's Kate Kelly reported Wednesday.
The price for the refinery would be more than $100 million, Kelly said.
ConocoPhillips said in September that it began the process of idling the facility, and would permanently close it if a buyer wasn't found.
ConocoPhillips has extended the bidding deadline for the refinery from March until the end of May, according to the CNBC report.
