Emissions-control company Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. (CDTI) has named Honeywell International Inc. (HON) executive R. Craig Breese as its new president and chief executive.
Breese succeeds Charles F. Call, who announced plans to retire in December. Call will remain with the company in a transitional capacity until March 31 and will remain a member of the board.
Breese, who will also join Clean Diesel's board, most recently served as president of Honeywell's consumer products group. He also served as vice president and general manager in the Americas for Honeywell's environmental and combustion-controls business. Breese has also held positions at Deere & Co. (DE), Tenneco Inc. (TEN) and United Technologies Corp. (UTX).
Clean Diesel's shares closed at $2.83 Thursday and were unchanged after hours. The stock is down 55% over the past 12 months.
