Infrax Systems, Inc., (OTCBB: IFXY), a global provider of unified Smart Grid-related products and services for the Energy and Utility industries, announced today that the wireless broadband infrastructure, designed to enhance security and communication measures on the Island of Bermuda, has been delivered and deployment is under way.

The new wireless broadband infrastructure will be comprised of approximately forty-five (45) Infrax, TMAX 2000 modular base-station routers. These will be used for multiple services including surveillance camera backhaul for public safety and wireless Internet access for the residents and visitors.

The deployment has been divided into three phases. Phase one, which includes the Wireless Backhaul Injection Points or WIPs and the installation of the base stations along the famous "Front Street" in downtown Hamilton, will be complete by this week. The deployment of the other phases will begin immediately. "We have really ramped up the deployment," says Randy Guerette, senior wireless systems engineer for Decisions IT. "We are on schedule to complete the project on time."

The TMAX 2000 is based on a modular architecture that allows for up to four (4) independent radio modules capable of operating in multiple frequencies and operational modes simultaneously. In addition to wireless access, hotspot capability, and network bridging, the TMAX 2000 provides full core networking functionality to the outside edge of the infrastructure.

"Infrax Systems is to be a part of this multi-platform, multi-phase project serving the island of Bermuda," states Paul J. Aiello, CEO of Infrax Systems. "Decisions IT is an excellent partner to further our presence in the region and we look forward to participating in additional opportunities with them. They have proven to be an extremely technical and professional organization and their outstanding reputation is well-deserved."
