Carillion Wins Facilities Management Contracts Worth Up To GBP204 Million

Carillion PLC (CLLN.LN), a support services company, said Wednesday it has won facilities management contracts for the Nationwide Building Society (NANW.LN) and for Virgin Media (VMED) that together are worth up to GBP204 million.


-Contract with Nationwide Building Society is for the provision of facilities management services for the Society's entire property portfolio in the U.K..

-Under the new contract, Carillion will also provide a total facilities management solution for the Society's branches; Contract commences in April and will be for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend this for a further two years.

-New facilities management contract by Virgin Media renews a current agreement and extends Carillion's partnership with Virgin Media to at least mid-2013 and potentially to mid-2015.

-Under the new contract, Carillion will continue to deliver hard and soft facilities management services for Virgin Media's U.K. national estate.

-Shares on Tuesday closed at GBP3.80.
