Wanderport Corp. (PINKSHEETS: WDRP) today announced testing results concerning containment and safety for its microwave energy tank-less water heater.

Effects of radio frequency interference (RFI) on household and environment:

Wanderport is pleased to report its microwave energy tank-less water heater showed no leakage of radio frequency interference during recent testing. The company stated that the unit should therefore proficiently contain and enclose all RFIs within its structure, thereby preventing radio frequency interference with other household equipment or appliances using 2.4 GHz (the commonly used frequency in home environments, i.e. cordless phones, wireless alarm systems, etc.) This successful RFI testing allows us to confidently seek the desired radio frequency certification in compliance with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) part 15 in the USA and Industry Canada regulations. Other worldwide certification will follow in accordance to the requirements of our existing distributors' jurisdiction.

Testing thermal protection:

Tests confirmed thermal protection will be accomplished by use of a thermocouple to interrupt power and signal a fault should the heater generate excess temperature. The control will also be used to measure ambient temperature in excess of operating range and disable the unit. Moreover, this feature serves to extend the product life by allowing the unit to function only within specified ranges.

Ground fault interruption (GFI):

The unit will incorporate ground fault interruption protection to guard the unit from electric shock and will interrupt the circuit should leakage occur from the water cooled magnetron or capacitors. When a circuit is functioning normally all the return current from the microwave energy water heater flows through the neutral wire. The GFI sensor provides an input to our specifically designed controller within which we may control the trigger level to comply with 5mA of leakage current which is the UL requirement for a GFI outlet. This is an additional level of protection not typically found in water heaters.

The company is currently very optimistic while it continues validating claims aimed at assembling pre-launch units destined for certification compliance. Wanderport assures its valued shareholders of continued updates throughout the company's progression towards full production in Phase III.
