Wanderport Corp. (PINKSHEETS: WDRP) today announced its first update relating to Phase II product testing and present status.

Throughout the past few weeks the company has been completing in-house testing of components and pursuing a strategy of building towards assembly with the use of scalable components for its pre-launch units and eventual production of the microwave energy tank-less water heater. Preliminary testing indicates there will likely be various models and a very well rounded line of products. Consequently, scalability of components will permit more flexibility in manufacturing, resulting in better purchasing leverage, lesser training required for contract assemblers and will also allow Wanderport to navigate the certification process with more ease towards a superior final offering.

The company has completed a fair amount of work towards sourcing and auditing various electronic contract assembly companies in Asia. Wanderport has also recently traveled to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to conduct factory audits in order to possibly advance with North American contract manufacturers recommended by Wanderport's US distributor (UMC), in order to accelerate cost analysis and subsequent comparable testing and U/L certification.

The company is devoting efforts towards residence point of entry and smaller apartment/condominium point of entry units, as well as point of use models and eventual solar boost. Thus far, the company is quite pleased with testing results; however, there still remains a fair amount of testing prior to finalizing the pre-launch units towards UL approvals and eventual commercialization.

It is significant to note, however, that once the testing exercise is concluded Wanderport anticipates having one of the most comprehensive range of electric water heaters in the industry employing the latest in technology. On the efficiency side the company is currently validating claims which are likely to be significantly superior to any electric on-demand unit currently offered by the largest and best brands in the world. Preliminary calculations place Wanderport's microwave energy tank-less water heater at approximately 20-25% more efficient than the competition, representing a potentially enormous savings to consumers. Wanderport is continuing to conduct testing and hopes to validate claims sometime in the coming weeks and will continue updating shareholders throughout the process in the form of general and technical information.
