SAN DIEGO, April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BizAuctions,
Inc. (Pink Sheets: BZCN), a prime provider of commercial eBay and
Amazon liquidation services for excess inventories, overstocks and
returns, and La Jolla Liquidation & Auction Co. move forward
for the planned 1st live-auction of furniture, fixtures, and
equipment from the renovation of the Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel
& Casino.
Delmar Janovec, CEO comments, "We
are making good progress in the inventory phase of the furniture,
fixtures, and equipment (FF & E) that has been received from
the Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel & Casino renovation. BizAuctions
and La Jolla Liquidation have received six (6) semi-truck loads of
FF & E that has consumed a sizeable portion of our 22,000 sq.
ft. warehouse in Otay Mesa,
California. While our staff is
conducting their inventory count of the FF & E received, we are
also marking the merchandise according to what will be sold on our
eBay or Amazon platforms and what will be sold at our 1st planned
live-auction to be held at BizAuctions warehouse, at 1510 Corporate
Center Drive, Otay Mesa, CA. The date for the planned live-auction
has been tentatively set for May 21
and May 22nd for the sale of the
first furniture, fixtures, and equipment received from the
renovation of the Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel & Casino and also
some inventory that BizAuctions has received from its
retailer-wholesale contracts. This live-auction should prove to be
a good quality auction that will offer merchandise ranging from the
historic Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel & Casino to current brand
name electronics and general merchandise."
Romy Ashjian, President of La
Jolla Liquidation notes, "We have accomplished much work since our
initial signing of the Joint-Venture agreement some three weeks ago
and are cataloging the inventory of FF & E that has been
received. We have already had some interest from other wholesalers
for the FF & E both for the resale of and on a consignment
basis. With the quality brand names of the FF & E, I believe
there will be much interest from commercial vendors for the
merchandise to be sold at the live-auction that is tentatively
scheduled for May 21 and May 22 at the BizAuctions warehouse. I'm looking
forward to maintaining our progress on the warehousing phase and
the upcoming live-auction."
The renovation of the Tropicana Hotel & Casino is being
completed in phases with the renovation of approximately 800
suite-rooms, kitchen areas, banquet-conference areas, and meeting
rooms, spa, and casino areas. Included in the renovation will be
the removal of the amazing antique stained-glass ceiling above the
poker and craps tables in the main casino area of the
Tropicana.
"BizAuctions employs two primary business models, whereby it
liquidates inventory through eBay and Amazon on consignment for a
lucrative commission; and/or it purchases inventory at a fraction
of retail price for the purpose of liquidating it for a profit.
BizAuctions consigns, buys inventory, and liquidates through eBay
and Amazon platforms and its recently opened retail store,
Lucky 7's," continues Janovec.
