University of Texas at Austin. He began his career as a staff
engineer with Intel Corporation; was an Associate Professor of
Computer Science at Purdue University; and was a staff scientist at
the Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 1984, Morris founded and
grew Logic Automation (Beaverton, Ore.) into a thriving business
that was sold in 1994 for $120 million to Synopsys.
